岩上：少なくとも政治とカネという、「買収されているんじゃないか、政治家が」と言ってずっと追及しているようなメディアが、自らが買収されているらしいという話に対して、その問題は一切口をつぐんでぬぐって、政治家だけを攻撃するというのは、それはちょっとおかしいだろうと、まずは自らを正せと。そして、このことは国民にとって大変な問題ですから、機密費は国民の血税です。それが目的外使用されている、脱税の可能性もある。 さらには、官邸に記者メモがどうも上納されているらしい。これは夜討ち朝駆けしている記者たちの取材記録が、機密費をもらう代わりに官邸に上納されていたということなんですよ。 となるとどういうことかと言うと、日々オフレコだと思って安心して、本当の話をしていた政治家や高級官僚たちが、実は新聞の１面に載っていないから自分の話は書かれていないと思っているんだけれども、自分の話した話は全部官邸に握られていた。そして、それが言わば権力闘争や何かに使用されていた可能性が極めて高いわけです。
